Creating your own World - I can't wait to see what they do!

I just showed this film to my AP photo students today. They thought it was 'weird' but inspiring. Personally, I thought it was beautifully done and incredibly moving. It really provides a dense amount of material to process.
AP's next shooting assignment is based on this idea of creating or staging an artificial world and then documenting it. Some of their immediate ideas so far:
- a little sister who is obsessed with her bunny toys; have her dress up as a bunny and play with these toys in public
- draw characters from a tv show, cut them out, photograph them acting out scenes from the student's life
-have friends dress up, wear masks, and then photograph them in public doing mundane things

I'm so excited about this. I cannot WAIT to see what they do. Results will be posted!
